Prof. Ahmet Ekin, M.D.
Professor Ahmet Ekin is currently the head of department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. He had been the head of the division of Hand Surgery in School of Medicine, Dokuz Eylül University for 20 years. He was graduated from School of Medicine, Hacettepe University in 1978 and from the residency education at Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, School of Medicine, Hacettepe University in 1983.
He was accepted by Columbia University on 1989. Following his education on Hand Surgery in 1990 in School of Medicine, Columbia University, he applied to education program on Elbow and Shoulder Surgery in School of Medicine, Texas University in 1994. His education continued at Grand Rapids Michigan, Blodged Medical Center in 1995
