Nephorology: Dialysis and Transplantation

Nephrology is a branch of science that regulates kidney diseases, advanced fluid-electrolyte/acid-base balance disorders and research and dialysis treatments in advanced kidney failure, prepares cells and kidney donor candidates for kidney transplantation and monitors their treatments both after the transplantation process.

In our hospital, routine biochemical tests used in the diagnosis of kidney diseases, detailed diagnostic analyzes (urine microscopy, accumulating blood cells, inflammation/infection screening, determination of quantitative protein amount, stone analysis, etc.), systemic diagnosis and immunological tests used in differential diagnosis (autoantibodies, complement system). etc.) treatments, kidney donation and cooperation with pathology for nephropathological examination are some of our diagnostic methods.

In addition, kidney ultrasonography, kidney doppler ultrasonography, Voiding cysto-ureterography, kidney and heart excretory system computed tomographic examination - CT renal artery angiography, kidney and central excretory system MR examination, MR renal artery angiography, in preparation for kidney transplantation and whether the donor accepts the organ or not. Examinations are performed to evaluate the relevant immunological risk analysis.

Special examinations are performed for the diagnosis of fluid-electrolyte/acid-base balance and differential diagnosis. Diagnosis and staging of hypertension and tests to determine its causes and complements (Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring, measurements of vascular elasticity, etc.) are also some of the diagnostic methods.
