This type of surgery is prefered to be done after the end of growth and puberty. The upper age limit for Rhinoplasty isn’t fixed, but it is ideal to have surgery before age 35 when the skin’s elasticity is still low.

Through these incisions, the skin that covers the nasal bones and cartilages can be raised allowing access to reshape the structure of the nose.
Step 3 – Reshaping structure of the nose
With Rhinoplasty, our specialist can reduce or enlarge the parts of the nose using cartilage from other parts of the body. Most commonly, cartilage from the nasal septum (the partition in the middle of the nose) is used for this purpose. Occasionally cartilage from the ear or rarely a section of rib cartilage can be used The deviated septum level at this stage and the
Step 4 – Correcting a deviated septum
If the septum is deviated, it can be straightened and lateral prominences lift to improve breathing.
Step 5 – Closing the incision

To adjust the size of your nostrils, the doctor may also make additional stitches in the natural curvature area. Finally, the surgeon completes the operation with nasal fixation and nasal tamponade. parallax background

Recovery After Rhinoplasty
At the end of the operation, the surgeon places a plaster sheet on the nose that the patient wears for 14 days. In addition, a tamponade inserts into the nasal passages, which the doctor removes after two days. Although the plaster is removed after 14 days, you must wear it for another two weeks. This eliminates the possibility of hurting your nose while you sleep. Three weeks after the operation, it is possible to start loosening the skin on the bridge of the nose with massages. Within 14 days after the process, bruises and large swellings will pass. However, sometimes even six months after the procedure, slight swelling may occur in the nose. After six months, you will see the final result.
The outcome of the surgery may be adversely affect individuals diferently such a condition is unpredictable and can be manifested, for example swelling of the nasal root, a slight irregularity with excessive bone formation, or swelling of the soft tissues at the tip of the nose. These complications are rare; if they don’t go away independently, the doctor can resolve them with a simple procedure. Follow this day-to-day recovery steps after Rhinoplasty;
• Second day: After being checked by the doctor, you can go home.
• Third and fourth day: Nasal swelling after Rhinoplasty is quite common, it occurs around the eyes and cheeks. Keep calm and cool these areas carefully.
• Fourth day: You can remove the tamponade in your nose/possibly during a check-up at the clinic. Sometimes you can get a little dizzy doing this, so it’s always a good idea to sit down.
• Tenth day: Blowing your nose for the first 10 days isn’t recommended. Carefully clean the nose with cotton swabs.
• Twelveth to fourtheenth day: We will remove splint fixation for you on these days. Now begins the second phase of healing, in which you will have a significant influence. For a successful result, we must follow our doctor’s instructions and be careful during the healing process.
Postoperative pain is mild and can treat with standard analgesics. Just like swelling, bruises are part of the postoperative period (especially during the adjustment of the bone part). They appear at the root of the nose and under the eyes around the 1st to 3rd day after the procedure and regress towards the face. After 4-8 weeks, you can return to sports and total physical exertion. By this time the healing of your mucous membranes and general regeneration of your nasal tissues is very good and relatively quick.
